Your data rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them.

Make a request

Email us and we will take it from there. The button below opens a message to support@encorekit.com with a short template already filled in — answer what you can and send it.

Start a data request

If the button does not work on your device, email support@encorekit.com with the subject “Data Subject Request”.

What you can ask for

Access

Ask what personal data we hold about you.

We will tell you what we hold, where it came from, what we use it for, and who we share it with — and give you a copy.

Erasure

Ask us to delete your personal data.

We will delete what we hold about you, except anything we are legally required to keep (for example, records we need for tax or fraud-prevention purposes). If we have to keep something, we will tell you what and why.

Portability

Get your data in a form you can take elsewhere.

We will provide the personal data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable file, so you can move it to another service.

Objection

Tell us to stop using your data in a particular way.

You can object to processing we carry out on the basis of our legitimate interests, and you can opt out of analytics at any time on our Cookie Settings page — no request needed.

What to include

Two things let us find you. Without them we may not be able to act on your request at all, because we would have no way to tell which records are yours.

  • The app you were using. Encore powers offers inside other companies’ apps, so knowing which one narrows the search enormously.
  • Your account email address, or your app user ID if you have it. Either one is usually enough; both is better.

If your request concerns an app you used, we may need to involve that app’s publisher. They decide what the app collects and why, and for much of that data we act on their instructions rather than our own — so telling us which app you used also lets us route your request to the right place.

Confirming it is you

Before we hand over or delete anything, we have to be reasonably sure the request came from you — handing someone else your data would be its own privacy breach. Usually that means replying from the email address on the account, or confirming a detail only you would know.

We will only ask for what we actually need to establish this, and we will not ask you to send identity documents unless there is no other way.

How long it takes

We respond within one month of receiving your request. If your request is complex, or you have sent several, we may need up to two further months — if that happens we will tell you within the first month, and explain why.

There is no charge for making a request.
